Yucaipa Masters swimmers Aric
Kent, Alycia
Parker, and Pamela Henry suited up for
competition at the Caltech Pentathalon swim meet last weekend March
6-7 2010. Aric Kent, who competes regularly qualified for the
National Short Course Yards Meet in 2 events the 50 Back and
the 50 Fly. This was Alycia Parker's first competitive event and
she also qualified for 3 events in the National Short Course
Yards Meet, the 50 Free, 50 Fly, and the 100IM. The newest member
of MYST Pamela Henry also enter the
competion although she didn't qualify for any National
events our hat is off to her for going out there and giving it
her best. For those of you who haven't had the pleasure of meeting
Pamela she only joined MYST a week before the meet and had not
been in the water for quiet some time. When I talked to her she was
quiet happy that she was not disqualified in any of her events.
Aric also mentioned to me he enjoined having other members of the
MYST team at the meet with him and
would like to see more of the members entering swim meets. We
are always looking to add more members to our rooster, if
you or someone you know is interested in joining MYST come see me on deck.
